My healing doesn’t have to be quiet. Sometimes it needs a blog and a little WiFi
Hey Sunnies💛
Hi, I’m Margie — a 23-year-old soft-hearted overthinker with a blog, a mic, and a lot of feelings. I just turned 23 this past April, and honestly, this chapter of my life feels like a mix of healing, growth, and a little chaos — all wrapped in soft blankets and big feelings. I write and speak my way through life’s messiness, one honest moment at a time. When I’m not pouring my heart out in blog posts, you’ll find me behind the mic on my podcast, Navigating Life Diaries — a safe space for anyone trying to figure it all out (spoiler: same). It’s available on all podcast platforms, so if you ever need a voice that gets it, I’m right there.
Why I Started Self Care Diary: A Journey to Self-Love

Self Care Diary was born from a heart that used to whisper, “you’re not enough.” There was a time — not too long ago — when self-love felt like a language I couldn’t speak. I didn’t know how to choose myself, let alone celebrate the messy, beautiful human I am. So, I started writing. At first, it was stiff, guarded… like I was trying to prove something. But slowly, my words softened. I stopped trying to sound perfect and started writing like I was talking to a friend. Because that’s what I want this space to be — a gentle, honest corner of the internet for anyone who feels like they’re figuring it out from the ground up.
If you’re in that place — where mirrors feel too loud and love feels far away — I hope this blog feels like a deep breath. I hope it feels like someone holding your hand saying, “me too.” I’m not here as a finished product. I’m here, in the thick of it, sharing my story with open palms and a hopeful heart. And if my words can make just one Sunny feel a little more seen, a little less alone… then every syllable is worth it.

Oh, and before I forget — yes, I call you Sunnies. It’s not just a cute nickname (though let’s be honest, it’s kind of adorable). I got it from a romantic novel I fell in love with — Powerless by Elsie Silver — where Jasper calls Sloane Sunny, short for Sunshine, because she lights up his world. And after reading that (as the hopeless romantic I am), I thought… that’s exactly how I feel about you guys. Whether you’re reading my words or listening to my episodes, you bring light into my life — and I hope this space brings a little light into yours too.
We’re all just navigating life, trying to find our way, and I want this to feel like your soft place to land. A cozy little community where you belong, just as you are — with all your feelings, your chaos, your heart, and your story. Welcome home, Sunny. I’m so glad you’re here💕
