Dear me,

You and I know the struggles we've been through over the years. The tears we shed in the shower, under the blankets and on the mirror as we looked at ourselves. It's been a rough journey but I am proud at where we have come.

In the beginning of our relationship, I didn't know we'll reach this far. We had hatred towards each other but I am happy it's turning to love.

Through this journey of loving each other, it has been tough but at least we are getting there. No one can come between our love as opposed to the past and it really feels my heart with joy.

I have connected with you and I now know what you love and what you hate. I've come to understand your flaws and appreciated them. I've learned your traumas and I'm in the right place where I can help you heal. I don't need to be mean anymore coz I understand.

I should have been more kind. Assure you that you are beautiful. Not to care about what others think about you. You are perfect just the way you are and no one should make you feel otherwise. I should have told you to be more confident in your skin coz your body is wonderfully made. I should have made you where what makes you feel beautiful.

I shouldn't have shamed you for being who you are. I shouldn't have shamed you for how you looked. I shouldn't have made you change your personality to please those who don't care about you. I feel bad for keeping anything negative in your mind and made you hate yourself. You deserve better and I will give you nothing but the best from now henceforth.

You went through all that and still made it to date and it makes me so proud. I've failed you but you still wanted to mend our relationship. You are my hero and I don't want you fail you again. I want to be your strength and build you to be the best version of yourself. I've spent time with you and any person would be lucky to have you at heart. You don't need to beg for anyone's love coz you'll always have me.

I don't want to lose you again. I am here reassuring you that whatever mistake you make in life, I'll still love and cherish you. Nothing will make my love for you fade away. If you need a shoulder to cry on, I'll always be here. I'll be here to make you laugh and I'll do anything to see that beautiful smile of yours. I am always here for comfort.
